The company

A family operated border trucking business begun in 1984 as a minor company continuously improving and incorporating in 1996 as Rapid Transfer Xpress, RTX.

Over the years RTX has become the leader in Maquiladora Traffic and International transportation.

Our corporate offices are located in Otay Mesa, California, strategically a few feet from the American/ Mexican Border, the hub of trade between these two great countries.

The San Diego Yard consists of 20 acres with additional contracted drop yards for approximately 20 major U.S. over the road carriers. Additionally, RTX has rail and ocean carrier interchanges to provide “Door to Door” service without having to subcontract a U.S. or Mexican carrier, along with full yard operating authority both in Mexico and the United States.

Technology is strongly applied to offer 24 hours, 7 days a week, full yard digital video surveillance for cargo protection as well as operational capabilities to track each load over the internet for our customers. Radio communications allow quick dispatch of drivers to deliver your goods as well as continuous track of the cargo and equipment.
